Mag. Dr. phil. Barbara Christa Pristovnik
Born 1974 in Trieben (Upper Styria)
Studied Romance languages, geography and economics at the University of Vienna.
1997 Studied in Florence at the Facoltà di Lettere and Facoltà di Economia e Commercio.
1999 Completion of Degree with teaching qualification (Mag.phil.).
Afterwards 10 years residence in Germany. Teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Ravensburg-Weingarten and at the Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance (German as a foreign language, Italian, English for Beginners).
2003 Commencement of doctoral studies in Romance languages at the University of Vienna.
2006 Conferral of Doctor of Philosophy.
2011 to 2015 working in Bregenz (Vorarlberg) in a leading position in the field of education, integration and language.
Since July 2015 resident in Graz. Working as a lecturer at Graz University of Technology
in the field of German as a foreign language for academic staff.
